Year Five Unit of Work: The Water Cycle
Objectives:
- Students will present their knowledge of the water cycle in a Powerpoint, which will be uploaded to Slideshare and published on the blog and/or library website.
- Students will become familiar with using a variety of web 2.0 tools ad well as searching for appropriate pictures and information.

Task 4Use Google Images to find a diagram of the water cycle that YOU like. This is a summary of the information your Powerpoint will contain. This diagram should be inserted onto the second slide of your presentation and take up the whole slide. HINT: You need to be able to explain the diagram you have chosen.

Task 5Bubbl.us is a simple web 2.0 tool for creating mind maps and flow charts. Use Bubbl.us to create a diagram of the water cycle using the correct vocabulary. You will need to save this mind map then insert it onto the next page of your powerpoint. Once you have done that, find a picture on Google images to illustrate each stage.

Task 6In your powerpoint, you will now create a slide for each stage of the water cycle. This slide should contain information in the form of text, pictures and possible diagrams. You might find pictures in the clip art or Google Images.
